The Colt lightweight commander XSE 9mm shares many similarities to the gun that served 2 world wars and several other global conflicts. The differences are few, first the lightweight aluminum frame, which makes the gun several ounces lighter for all day carry comfort. The second biggest is being chambered in 9mm instead of .45ACP, with the many advancements in ammunition technology this affords people to shoot a lower cost, lower recoiling version of a classic pistol without sacrificing ballistic effectiveness.
