Diamondback firearms has been making affordable and reliable AR-15 Modern Sporting Rifles for several years. They have since introduced their latest DB-15 5.56x45mm pistol for those who want a shorter overall firearm without the need for additional licensing through the ATF for a tax stamped short barreled rifle. Using the tried and true military direct impingement gas operating system, the DB15 pistol is incredibly reliable for its size. The 7.5" barrel is made from high quality 4140 chrome moly steel and the 1:8RH twist rate is extremely accurate for its size with a wide variety of ammunition. The 4 way rail allows shooters to attach lights and lasers to help with low light shooting, although because of the ATF NFA rules you cannot legally attach a vertical foregrip or any type of rail mounted grip without obtaining a tax stamp from the NFA branch. Although not able to be equipped with a buttstock without registration and a tax stamp from the ATF, the shortened buffer tube has foam padding and is fairly comfortable when shouldering. While the muzzle brake will help dampen felt recoil and muzzle rise to make this Diamondback DB15 5.56x45mm pistol an excellent car or bug out gun due to its lightweight and easy handling.
