The Ruger LCR in 9mm is a light, small-frame revolver with a smooth, easy-to-control trigger and highly manageable recoil. What makes the LCR so special is the inclusion of a polymer frame that not only reduces weight, but significantly reduces recoil and allows Ruger to deliver an ultra smooth trigger pull. In fact, this was the first polymer frame revolver in history. This Ruger LCR is a five shot 9mm with a 1-7/8" barrel, a snag-free shrouded hammer and a double action only trigger. It utilizes "Moon" clips, which are a self-contained unit (ring) that holds the 9mm cartridges in place and easily drops into a cylinder. This Ruger LCR in 9mm revolver wears a low profile integral U-notch pattern rear and Pinned Ramp front sight that allows rapid target acquisition while remaining snag-free. Constructed from a 7000 series aluminum forging, the cylinder to frame barrel assembly has a 1714 stainless steel barrel sleeve that is threaded into the barrel shroud. The Hogue Tamer Monogrip has channeled finger grooves which greatly improve control and maneuverability while firing. All metal components are finished in an extremely durable, corrosion resistant IonBond Diamond Black coating.
