The Smith & Wesson 637 Performance Center Airweight is a traditional double action revolver that reduces weight by way of an aluminum alloy frame. Chambered for the .38 S&W Special +P cartridge, it has a five shot cylinder and barrel liner that are constructed out of stainless steel. The Smith and Wesson 637 Performance Center revolver is outfitted with a 1.875" barrel and weighs in at just under 1-pound. Since it's from the Performance Center, this Model 637 has been hand cut, fit and its action is precision tuned. Shots can be fired in either double action mode, or for greater precision, the spurred hammer can be cocked back and fired from a crisp single action pull.
