The CZ75 is the flagship design of the CZ line of firearms, designed in 1975 it quickly became know for its ergonomics, reliability and capacity. At a time when the revolver and 1911 were the go-to for police departments, concealed carry, and overall personal protection. The CZ75B was a different breed, carrying 15rds of 9mm ammunition it soon became known as one of the "wondernines" a term coined for the high capacity 9mm semiautomatics that started coming onto the market. The CZ75B Omega 9mm is the latest iteration of this iconic 9mm. CZ has upgraded the trigger system on the Omega 9mm with a simpler more robust design which improves overall durability which decreases the chance for a major failure on hard use pistols. On older variations of the CZ75B you had to choose either manual safety or decocker lever, there was no way to change it without purchasing another pistol. However on the new Omega 75B, its just the same as the P07/P09 polymer framed models and can be easily swapped with no tools and no gunsmith. This means that you can choose how you want to carry your gun, cocked and locked like a 1911 or decocker hammer down like a Sig Sauer 226/229. The CZ75B Omega 9mm still comes with the legendary cold hammer forged barrel for outstanding accuracy and service life.
