The Ruger LCP II .380 is an updated version of the very popular LCP semi auto pocket pistol. Made from the same black high performance glass filled nylon as the original, however the Ruger LCP II has an upgraded grip texture and larger frame for even better feel and hold when shooting. The alloy steel slide has more aggressive slide serrations and has been redesigned to be easier to rack and now holds open after the last round fired. The Ruger LCP II has a new updated trigger that is shorter, lighter, with a single action feel. The trigger also comes with a trigger style safety similar to other polymer frame fighting pistols that helps prevent accidental activation of the trigger. The sights have been improved over the original LCP but are still machined into the slide for more durabiliity. The original Ruger LCP 6rd .380 mags will work in the new LCP II but will not activate the last round hold open, 7rd LCP mags will not function in the new LCP II.
