The Ruger MKIV 22/45 .22lr tactical is the latest updated version of the popular Ruger rimfire pistol. One of the major shortcomings of the Ruger MkI, MKII, and MKIII was that it could be problematic to fully dissasemble for cleaning. The Ruger MKIV fixes this with a new design, the rear of gun just below the bolt allows the gun to hinge forward on the frame to come apart without the need for tools or headaches. Ambidextrous manual thumb safety upgrades the old style button for easier manipulation, while still maintaining the higest level of safety you've come to expect from Ruger firearms. The Tactical version of the Ruger MKIV 22/45 comes with adjustable rear sight to dial in with your favorite .22lr load, additionally the tactical 22/45 has top and bottom mounted accessory rails for red dot optics or lights and lasers to fit the shooters preferance.
