The Springfield Armory XD .45ACP compact 4" is a high capacity concealed carry semi auto. The lightweight polymer frame with steel reinforced locking block on the full size frame is easy to handle and a joy to shoot. The 4" steel slide is melonite coated for extra corrosion resitance and helps balance the shorter carry size grip for excellent handling. With 10rds of big bore .45ACP firepower the Springfield XD 5" is ready to handle any situation that might arise, and is able to accept the larger 13rd full size magazines. With the grip safety paired along with the Ultra Safety Assurance or USA trigger which has a tab on the trigger to prevent any accidental manipulation of the trigger, a firing pin block keeps any drops or hard impacts from allowing the gun to fire. 3-dot white dot sights provide a crisp sight picture and are able to be drifted by a sight pusher.
