Heckler and Koch broke into the striker fired world with their VP70 back in 1970, they have sinced broken back into the market with the VP9 and subsequent VP9SK. Setting themselves apart from the other striker fired polymer framed pistols on the market, the VP9SK has a light striker fired trigger reminiscent of a 1911 single action trigger in how it breaks. The smoother lighter trigger helps with accuracy, while still maintaining safety with a trigger style safety, and internal firing pin and drop safeties to prevent anything but a deliberate trigger press from discharging the pistol. The HK VP9SK is unique from other polymer frame striker fired pistols in being completely ambidextrous without needing to swap parts to make it left hand friendly. The HK VP9SK has 3 sets of interchangeable backstraps and side panels in different sizes to allow full grip customization to fit an individuals hand. Standard magazine capacity is 10rd with one flush fit, and one pinky extension for fuller grip. The HK VP9SK is also capable of handling the larger 15rd magazines from the full size HK VP9 for even higher capacity. Unlike most standard polymer frame striker fired pistols, the HK VP9SK comes with 3-dot either photo luminescent glo sights, or 3-dot tritium night sights. Also available in a variety of frame colors.
