The Springfield XDS 4" 9mm is the thin carry handgun of the XD series of pistols. It retains all of the features that makes the bigger duty sized pistols so great. The textured lightweight black polymer frame stays put in the hands under all conditions, and being a single stack magazine it hides easily on the body. The forged steel slide and barrel are melonite coated for superior corrosion resistance and long term durability. The slide is topped with steel fiber optic front sight and white dot rear sight which provides a crisp, clear sight pictured in a wide variety of lighting situtions. The Springfield XDS 4" 9mm comes with the same U.S.A Ultra Safety Assurance trigger, grip safety, and firing pin block safety that all XD pistols have had since their inception. The Springfield XDS 4" 9mm comes with 1-5rd flush fit and 1-6rd extended magazine 2 interchangeable backstraps all in a plastic hard case.
